GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES |

The COVID-19 MENTAL HEALTH HELP LINE is a national helpline set up by the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore during the wake of coronavirus crisis.

This service is provided free of cost by a panel of volunteer psychologists to address the mental health issues arising due to COVID-19. |

The patient/ client does not hold the right to record the conversation between himself/herself and the professional.

The patient has no right to misuse or viral any material / conversation provided by the professionals. |

The professionals reserve the right to disconnect/ cancel and report the conversation/ call at any time if deemed inappropriate.

Our mental health professionals are not trained to diagnose COVID-19. Neither these services are dealing with diagnosis of COVID-19. If the patient/client is dissatisfied or disagrees with the advice given, still they won’t hold the right to claim any legal action against the services or the mental health professionals. |

The patient has no right to claim any matter about the mental health services in the court of law. |
8. |
The data obtained from the caller may be used for the purpose of research by protecting personally identifiable information and adhering to all ethical standards. |
