Mr. Zeeshan Arshad joined Department of Information Technology, University of the Punjab (Gujranwala Campus) as Lecturer in September 2010. Currently, he is on study leave for his PhD in Computer Science from Germany. He obtained his M.Phil. Computer Science Degree with 81% marks from Comsats University, Islamabad in 2014. He secured his M.Sc. IT degree with 85% distinction (CGPA 3.81) from University of the Punjab, back in 2009.
His career is stunning amalgamation of Professional Software Development, University Teaching and Software Engineering Research. His key area of Teaching, Development and Research is Computer Programming, Software and Tool analysis, Software Code Smell Detection, Software Maintenance, Software Engineering, Reverse Engineering, Enterprise Application Development, Software Database Management System and designing, development & testing of ERP Systems.
He also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Algorithm Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Islamabad for duration of more than five years i.e. 2009 to 2014 while using C# Asp.NET Technology with SQL Server for the Analysis, Designing, Development and implementation of ERP system for the Textile Industry of Pakistan and Bangladesh. Talking about his research, he has a numbers of national & international publications with good Impact Factors under his credit.
