Ph. D. Microbiology & Molecular Genetics (Regular)

Course work: 1 year (2 Semesters)
Research work: 2-4 years
M. Phil. degree holders are exempted from course work
Twenty-four credit hour courses have to be completed in first two semester followed by comprehensive viva voce examination and 48 credit hour research (2-4 years). The courses of reading are flexible and inter disciplinary and inter departmental approach is encouraged. Courses to be taken decided with consultancy of the supervisor. In case of deficiency student will take basic core courses offered in the Department or in other Departments. After completing research thesis have to be submitted within five years of registration in the Department
