| One Year Professional Diploma in Textile Design: (Evening Program)

The curriculum of the Diploma is specially designed so that the amateurs as well as the profession seeking individuals can learn and obtain a university qualification while working in the fields other then art. It engages the students to create concept based printable fabric designs as well as professional handloom woven products experimenting with the local as well as foreign motifs and rendering techniques for surface printing, embellishment, fabric hand printing and dyeing as an exclusive range of their own. They focus on the textile market for the apparel and interiors.

Applicants are required to have passed F.A/F.Sc. or equivalent as minimum qualification. There is No Age Limit for applicants. Hostel & pick & drop facilities are not available for the Diploma Students. Admission takes place in the month of October every year. The successful students have to abide by the Punjab University rules and regulations. The applicants will be judged through and interview held in the month of September, at the Allama Iqbal College Campus. The new session begins in the month of October annually. Admission advertisements are published in Daily Newspaper in the month of August and admission foams are available at the University College of Art & Design, Allama Iqbal College Campus.
Any previous academic or professional experience in the field of Textile Design or Art would be an added advantage and necessary documents should be attached with the application form. Portfolio of work if any would be preferred in the interview.
