Dr. Beenish Maqsood completed her PhD in Biochemistry, MS in Biotechnology and BS in Biotechnology from School of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of the Punjab Lahore. She has supervised several BS and M.Sc students. Her area of research interests are clinical biochemistry, nutritional biochemistry, enzymology and microbial biotechnology with emphasis on the production of industrially important, recombinant bioactive compounds from microorganisms.
