Ammara Khalid is a distinguished member of the faculty in the department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (MMG) with her qualifications, teaching experience and research in the domain of Bioinformatics. She is a PhD scholar in MMG and her thesis involves a synthesis of Bioinformatics and Molecular Genetics in her work on Leukemia. Bioinformatics is an invaluable tool of data analysis for Molecular Genetics related studies and has many practical applications for the vast field of biology on the whole. Ammara has also successfully supervised research works of a number of students on in-silico drug designing and mutational analysis of genes. |
