Dr. Shafiq is leading researcher in the areas of Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, and Industrial Engineering. He completed his Master and Doctor of Engineering Degrees from Asian Institute of Technology in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering. He also worked as a Erasmus Mundus Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of Sannio, Italy. During his career, he successfully completed several funded research projects.
Dr. Shafiq secured first-ever project from the European Commission in the history of the University of the Punjab and opened a gateway for the researchers by registering this prestigious institution in EU Funding & Tenders Portal. He published research work in top tier journals of the field like International Journal of Production Economics (IJPE), Journal of Cleaner Production, to name a few.
Dr. Shafiq served as a Keynote Speaker/session-chair in various national & international conferences/seminars. He also delivered various lectures in webinars.
