Professional Diploma in Food Safety Management Systems & Standards (PD FSMSS)

Upon completing the Professional Diploma in Food Safety Management Systems & Standards, the graduate will be equipped to assist organizations in implementing and maintaining robust food safety management systems in line with international standards such as ISO 22000, HACCP, and FSSC 22000. They will have the expertise to conduct thorough audits following ISO 19011 guidelines and ensure compliance with Halal Management Systems as per PS 3733. The graduate will also be capable of identifying potential food safety hazards, developing corrective measures, and enhancing the overall food safety culture within the organization.
Objectives: The Professional Diploma in Food Safety Management Systems & Standards (PD FSMSS) is committed to the following aims:
a)
To equip professionals with the essential knowledge and skills required to implement and manage food safety management systems in compliance with international standards such as ISO 22000 and HACCP.
b)
To enable individuals to understand and apply Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000), ensuring their organizations meet global food safety requirements and maintain high safety standards throughout the supply chain.
c)
To train professionals on the Halal Management System (PS 3733), providing them with the competencies to ensure food products meet Halal standards while adhering to ethical and religious requirements.
d)
To enhance auditing skills through the ISO 19011 standard, enabling individuals to conduct effective audits of food safety and Halal management systems to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
