University of the Punjab, in pursuance of its efforts for
the promotion and facilitation of education in the society,
grants affiliation to colleges in various disciplines.
According to affiliation statutes, the college management
is required to apply for affiliation for the upcoming academic
session, i.e., 2026-2027 till 31 May, 2026 along with all necessary
documents.
All the public and private educational institutions may submit
their applications using below link for the purpose of
o Affiliation for new/fresh institution
o Extension in the duration of affiliation
o Affiliation for additional subjects
o Enhancement of seats
After submission of online applications, the college must
submit the hard copy along with all necessary documents and
college visit fee, in the office of Affiliation before last
date. Applications complete in all respects shall be entertained
only. Applications after due date, i.e., 31 May, 2026, can also
be submitted with double fee.
Public and Private sector institutions, seeking affiliation
must provide NOC from Directorate of Public Instructions, Colleges,
Lahore and NOC from Pakistan Bar Council for Law colleges only.
Application without visit fee and security fee (for new affiliation
of private colleges) shall be considered incomplete.
Without having affiliation with University, college cannot
grant admissions in any program. Besides all affiliated educational
institutions cannot grant admission in excess to the specified
number of seats. Legal action will be taken against college
for grant of admission without affiliation in the name of University
or grant of excessive admissions and University will not be
responsible for any violation of colleges.
