Dr Rehana Saeed Hashmi is a political scientist, analyst and researcher for domestic and international affairs. She is noted for her work in Pakistan politics, Political Economy, Research Methodology, Muslim Political Philosophy, South Asian Political Systems and country's domestic policy. She completed her MA, MPhil and PhD education from the department of political science, University of the Punjab. Also being honorable gold medalist of the department of Political science in the 1993. She is currently serving as the assistant professor at the department of Politcal Science, University of the Punjab, Lahore. Her publications include numerous meticulous writings like the recently published “China, Central Asia Relations: A socio-Economic and Security Analysis of Bilateral Ties in the Journal of Political Studies, Vol.23, Issue.01, 2016”.Dr Rehana also wrote various research papers on ethnicity, ethnic politics and on the issue of national integration which is her primary interest. Dr. Rehana Hashmi has been a part of many Seminars, Conferences and Workshops. Also she has a vast experience in presenting her paper at a number of national and also on International platforms. These include her visit to the United States of America as the state guest under International Visitors Exchange Program. Her recent work in the shape of a book about Ethnic Politics and National Integration is in press.
Apart from teaching various courses to M.phil, Masters and BS Political Science, she also worked as coordinator BS program, coordinator MA political science, Examination Controller, and Student Advisor. She is also a member of Quality Enhancement Cell, Punjab University. |
