The department started BS program in 2006. This program comprises of eight semesters and aims to provide students’ knowledge of the nature, history and scope of discipline of psychology as a modern discipline. It also provides its graduates knowledge of the application and practice of psychology in real life and equips them with necessary skills to pursue specialized study to achieve professional qualifications. Students are provided with orientation of: the resources, facilities, rules and regulations, and code of conduct before the commencement of classes. It is mandatory for every student to attend orientation program and students are provided with copies of rules and regulations in the orientation program.
Prerequisites for Admission
Application form must be complete in all respects particularly, with reference to detailed marks in the previous examination; equivalence by the BISE (if required), Conversion of marks (if required). An attested photocopy of National Identity Card/ Domicile Certificate of the Applicant as well as of father/ guardian is also required.
Required qualification for admission in BS Program is F.A / F.Sc. Merit is calculated based on marks in matric, marks in F.A / F.Sc, Hafiz-e-Quran marks (20) and additional marks (5) are awarded for those who have passed F.Sc. It is required that the applicant carefully fills in the last two pages of the prospectus i.e. checklist and attaches it with admission application form and retains the counterfoil with him/her as a receipt. The lists of selected candidates are displayed on the Department notice board according to the admission schedule laid down by the University.
