Dr. Sadia Ahmad
Dr. Sadia Ahmad is an Assistant Professor at the Hailey College of Banking and Finance, University of the Punjab. She earned her PhD in Islamic Banking and Finance from University of Malaya. Her academic excellence was evident early in her career when she secured first position in her MS in Banking and Finance at the University of the Punjab.
Dr. Sadia brings extensive practical governance experience to her academic career. Before joining the University of the Punjab, she served in the Punjab Government’s Management and Professional Development Department, where she played a key role in designing and developing training curricula for civil servants across the province.
As In-charge Academics and in-charge Placement & Internships, she has managed academic coordination, quality assurance, industry linkages, and recruitment initiatives. She also heads the Semester Implementation Committee, HCBF Social Welfare Society and HCBF Debating Club, further demonstrating her dedication to academic excellence, student engagement, and institutional development.
Her research interests include dual banking systems, Islamic finance, banking regulations, risk management, Climate change and monetary economics.
