Dr. Rizwan Akhtar did his PhD from the University Of Essex, UK in 2013. His main area of research is South Asian Literature in English with a sharper focus on Indian and Pakistani writers and he is equally interested in post colonialism, gender studies, feminism and modernism. He has published a research article on “postcolonial memory”, and has also presented his papers in international conferences held in Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, and Sweden covering research fields as diverse as crime fiction, adaption studies, and modernist aesthetics. Rizwan Akhtar is also an internationally published poet. |
