Asim Rasul is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. He has been associated with the University of the Punjab since 2004, initially serving as a Lecturer and currently serving as an Assistant Professor.
His teaching and academic interests include Database Systems, Distributed Database Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Software Engineering, Project Management, Quality Management, and Introduction to Computing. He holds an M.Phil. in Total Quality Management, an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and an M.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of the Punjab and its affiliated institutions.
With more than two decades of teaching experience, he has contributed to computing education and professional training, with particular interest in databases, information systems, project management, and quality management.
