Introduction:
Dr Tausif Ahmad has been working as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Energy and Environmental Engineering (IEEE), University of the Punjab since 7th of September 2023. He did his BS in Chemical Engineering from COMSATS University, Lahore Campus in 2011. He worked as Quality Assurance Manager in a third party of Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited from 15th July 2012 until 30th October 2014. In the meanwhile, he did his MS in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (ICET), University of the Punjab in 2013. During his MS, he got expertise on electrochemical degradation of industrial pollutants. He received his PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia in 2020. He also worked as a Teaching Assistant during his tenure at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and involved in the teaching of undergraduate courses and laboratory demonstrations. His PhD worked was focused on Green Nanotechnology for Environmental Remediation. In addition to that, he also served as Research Associate with College of Natural and Health Sciences, Zayed University, Abu Dhabi, working on deep eutectic solvents coated nanomaterials for CO2 capture from 15th November 2018 till 15th March 2020. He has authored/co-authored more than 30 International/National research journal articles, conference proceedings in well reputed journals.
Before joining IEEE, he has also served as Assistant Professor at Institute of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan from 23rd June 2021 until 6th September 2023. At KFUEIT, he was involved in teaching several courses to graduate and undergraduate students.
