Dr. Zeeshan Yousaf

Dr. Zeeshan Yousaf is a Pakistani Mathematician and HEC Approved Supervisor, specialized in Geometry, Mathematical Physics and Cosmology. He has started his career by joining University of the Punjab, Lahore as a Lecturer in 2014. He did PhD in the field of Modified Gravitational Theories and Cos¬mology. He has been regularly awarding with Research Incentives from University of the Punjab and Research Productivity Award from the “Pakistan Council of Science and Technology”, Islamabad. He is a reviewer of four well-known impact factor international journals. He is a permanent member of some well-known societies like, Pakistan Physical Society, Pakistan Mathematical Society, etc. He developed with his colleagues a very strong group of relativity named “The Group of Gravitation and Cosmology” (http://ggc.pu.edu.pk/) in his department. Dr. Zeeshan has participated and presented his research papers in 22 International and National conferences/seminars in his field. As per June 2017, he has published more than 44 research papers which are cited by more than 790 times by national and international researchers. The cumulative impact factor of his research articles is 132.205, according to the 2016 Journal Citation Reports released by Thomson Reuters in 2017. The h-index of his research papers is 19 and i10-index is 31. He has been supervising 1 PhD student and has produced 2 MPhil scholars. He has been involved in organizing 2 national and 1 international conferences on Relativistic Astrophysics in University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan.
