As for as the education of Dr. Muhammad Aslam Malik is concerned, he completed his MSc Maths in 1989 from CASPAM B Z U Multan, MEd in 1993, M Phil in 1995 and Ph.D. in Maths in 2004 from University of the Punjab. He completed his one year Post Doctorate in 2006-2007 under the supervision of Prof Dr. Robert Turner Curtis from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom. He has been working as an Associate Professor in University of the Punjab since 08-11-2007 which is the leading educational institution in the Indo-Pak Subcontinent, where excellence is pursued and distinguished.
He has produced six Ph.D. and 42 M.Phil scholars in the field of Mathematics and having vast experience of administration as coordinator of all academic programs at university level. Some more MPhil/PhD research scholars are in progress. It is believed that university’s values strengthen bright vision, the joining University of the Punjab as a teacher has increased his capabilities towards teaching, learning and research and he is a valuable senior colleague in University of the Punjab.
He has 30 years regular teaching/research experience in Mathematics at Post Graduate level in various HEC recognized/highly reputed public sector institutions. His areas of research are Algebra, Group Theory, Number Theory, Fuzzy Theory and Graph Theory. He has published more than 60 research papers in Journals of national and international repute.
