The main objective of the Ph.D. program in Solid State Physics is to engage research workers with M.Sc./M.Phil. Physics degrees in high level goal oriented research in accordance with the standard and requirements of the Punjab University. Moreover, students are trained according to the needs of the country and as a result a lot of foreign exchange is saved.
