LISL Summer Program

LISL is going to offer a specialized summer program in a club like environment during the months of August and September. The program aims to enable children having average to low average range of intelligence to discover that learning is fun and can be exciting. The program will be based on activities which involve the children with their hearts and minds.
Purpose:
Enabling the children to become confident, mannered and establish their own functional skills.
For Children
For ages 6 to 16 years
Who have average intelligence but lack confidence, are shy and have insufficient social skills
Who are slow learners and have deficits in social and functional skills
Who have speech and language problems
Moreover who want to learn art and music skills
Skills will be focused
Social & Conversational Skills
Children will learn how to initiate conversation
How to use verbal and non verbal communication skills in different situations
How to ask questions, greet and perform other social behaviors confidently
Individual training to improve quality of speech
Participation in discussions
Confidence and Self esteem
After getting training they will be able to behave confidently and feel high self-esteem in their peer group.
Remedial work with learning problerms
Phonetic drill
Exercises that enhance reading
Tips to improve reading ability
Improve functional skills
Art and Music skills
Able to learn additional skills like painting, coloring, cards making and gittar & piano playing
Build constructive self expression
Such training will enhance children's thinking, creativity and innovation .
Structure:
Days: Monday – Thursday (4 days a week)
Starting date: August 12, 2013
Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Fee: Rs. 6000/=
