Dr. Muhammad Siddique Akbar is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Institute of Social and Cultural Studies. He obtained his PhD degree from University of the Punjab Lahore in 2015. He has been associated with various Public sector organizations since last ten years and has extensive teaching and administrative experience. His research and teaching interests include social resilience, social capital, risk and sociology of disaster and crisis. Besides this, he writes blogs in Urdu on diverse social issues using Sociological lens.
