She had joined the Institute of Chemistry as Lecturer in 2009, after obtaining her master degree in chemistry from the same institute in 2006. She has worked as student Demonstrator and Scientific Officer in this Institute for the period of 2006 to 2007. She had worked as a lecturer in Punjab Group of Colleges, Lahore for 2-years before joining this Institute as lecturer. Now she is working as Assistant Professor since January 2016, after completing her Ph.D from same institute. She holds 6 books and more than 108 research papers to her credit published in journals of national and international repute. She is also co-editor of many research journals published from Candian research journals publishers. Her field of interest is inorganic chemistry, especially associated with the development of new analytical procedures regarding various environmental issues, wastewater treatment and applied aspects of various scientific methodologies.
