Dr. Ummara Saher is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Education and Research (IER) in Department of Business Education, University of the Punjab, specializing in Education and Finance. Holding a PhD in Education (2018) and (MBE), her academic interests span curriculum development, educational psychology, financial management, and business economics. With over two decades of professional experience, she served as a lecturer for 14 years before advancing to her current faculty role. She is a prolific researcher and mentor, having supervised over 22 MPhil and 100 graduates exploring contemporary issues like artificial intelligence in education, digital literacy, and student well-being. She is Microsoft Dynamics 360 certified functional consultant 2025. Beyond teaching, she is National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) External Evaluator for nine years and a regular conference reviewer. Committed to professional development, she organizes and participates in national and international workshops, including recent training in generative AI and digital classroom tools. Additionally, she actively handles institutional responsibilities, serving on disciplinary, purchasing, and investment committees.
