Dr. Faraz Hussain did his B.Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgy and Materials Science from Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of the Punjab, Lahore in 2009, M.Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology in 2012 and Ph.D. (Engg.) Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering in 2024. He won gold medal by securing first position in B.Sc. (Engg.) Metallurgy and Materials Science.
Currently, Dr. Faraz Hussain is working as Assistant Professor at the Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, University of the Punjab and engaged in imparting technical knowledge and skills to engineering students at graduate level. He is also supervising research projects at graduate level students. He participated in various national conferences and workshops. His areas of research are Biomaterials, Corrosion Engineering and Foundry Engineering. He has published research articles in national and foreign journals of international repute.
