Mr. Shahzad Khan is serving as Lecturer (Finance with I.T.) at Institute of Business and Information Technology, University of the Punjab, Lahore since October 2012. He has been awarded Gold Medals for 1st Position in BS (HONS) Computer Science by Hajvery University Lahore and Masters of Business and Information Technology (MBIT) by University of the Punjab.
He has supervised master level thesis in the domain of finance, human resource management, information and communication technologies and interdisciplinary. His research interests and supervisions include topics on Behavioral Finance, Business Intelligence, Management Information System, use of Smart Phones, Software Quality Assurance and Gamification of services. He also teaches and conduct lab for the courses of Management Information System, Data Warehousing, Object Oriented Programming, Internet Programming, Software Engineering, Software Quality Assurance and e-Commerce to graduate and undergraduate students.
Before joining University of the Punjab, he has worked as ETL and BI Executive in Analytics private limited, Pakistan, which primarily provided data warehousing and business intelligence services to a variety of clientele consist of courier service providers, online job portals, banks and hospitals.
His technical expertise are in LAMP development and he is renowned I.T. Consultant and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System developer in Tiles and Sanitary industry of Pakistan, for his web based ERP system deployed with key organizations.
He is doing his Ph.D. in Information Systems from University of Auckland, New Zealand and has been awarded overseas Ph.D. Scholarship by University of the Punjab, Lahore.
