Dr Hakeem-Ur-Rehman is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Quality and Technology Management (IQTM), University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan, and a consultant and trainer with over 15 years of academic and professional experience. His expertise spans operations and supply chain management, quality management, Lean Six Sigma, and data-driven decision making. He regularly serves as a resource person for professional and executive training programs, delivering courses on Operations & Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma (Green & Black Belt), Value Stream Mapping, and Production Planning and Control.
He holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering (Operations & Supply Chain Management) from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and an MS in Total Quality Management and an MSc in Information & Operational Management (Operations Research) from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Exemplar Global, USA), a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (SQII, Singapore), and an IRCA (UK)- Certified QMS Lead Auditor.
Dr Hakeem-Ur-Rehman also holds professional certifications, including IBM Machine Learning, IBM Data Science, Google Data Analytics, and Google Advanced Data Analytics. His research interests include operations and supply chain management, Industry 5.0, quality management, and optimization, with publications in journals such as International Transactions in Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Forecasting, International Journal of Quality & Reliability Management, The TQM Journal, and Journal of Cleaner Production.
