Dr. Asim Hassan Rizvi is a silver medalist in both his B.Sc. Chemical Engineering and M.Sc. Chemical Engineering from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. In 2016, he was awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the University of the Punjab under the split-Ph.D. program after having completed two and a half years of experimental work at the University of Leeds (UK) and two and a half years at the University of the Punjab. He has five international journal and conference publications to date. His area of expertise includes coal and biomass combustion, reduction of harmful flue gas emissions by employing various oxidant and fuel introduction techniques, environmental aspects of coal combustion, power generation from solid-fuels and oxy-fuel combustion.
