LAHORE: (Saturday, November 22, 2014): Punjab University Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) organized a lecture on “Human Rights in USA”. University of Connecticut, USA Department of Sociology’s Prof Dr Bandana Purkayastha shed light on the topic. Dean Faculty of Behavioral & Social Sciences Prof Dr Muhammad Zakria Zakar, Dr Rubeena Zakar, Dr Ahmad Usman, Ms Rahla Rahat and a large number of students of sociology, criminology, population sciences, and development studies were attended the ceremony. In the interactive secession, the students put various questions about the state of human rights in USA and world-wide.
