I got my Masters and M.Phil degree in Statistics from the University of the Punjab and joined the university in 2002 as Lecturer on contract basis. In 2004, I was selected as permanent faculty member. In 2010, I was selected as Assistant Professor.
I taught different subjects as Probability and Probability Distributions, FORTRAN (Computer Language), Research Methodology, Survey & Report Writing and Statistical Methods both at BS and MSc levels.
I am member of Board of Studies of College of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences, University of the Punjab, Lahore and different committees of our college (CSAS) as Admission Committee, Disciplinary Committee.
Presently doing research in Applied Statistics, Probability Distributions, Portmanteau Test and Goodness of Fit Criteria. I have experience of working in computer packages like Amos, SPSS, FORTRAN and R language.
I have supervised numerous M.Sc. and M.Phil research students and published articles in the area of Applied Statistics and Probability Distribution.
I have attended different National and International Conferences. |
