Introduction
     Muhammad Rashid Usman was offered the position of Lecturer in Chemical Engineering on the basis of his performance in his B.Sc. Chemical Engineering (Jan, 2000), when he stood first and was awarded goldmedal from the University of the Punjab, Lahore. Since that time he is working in the Institute as a key member of the staff. During his stay he remained involved in the core subjects of Chemical Engineering. He was especially involved in the subjects of Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering Plant Design, and Particulate Solids Technology. He was able to complete his Masters in Chemical Engineering in 2001. On March 23, 2005 he was selected as an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering and currently, he is holding that position. Now-a-days he is on study leave to pursue his Ph.D. studies in U.K. as a Higher Education Commission Scholar.
