Salary Package
Salary up to maximum of a Tenured Professor plus facilities available to Director General, School of Biological Sciences.

1. Eligibility Conditions for the appointment on the above mentioned post:-

Director General	Ph.D. from an HEC recognized Institution with International reputation in a specialist area of modern Biology.	15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution with Minimum Two years of Administrative Experience as head of University Teaching Department or Research related organization OR 10 years Post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a Post-graduate Institution with Minimum Two years of Administrative Experience as head of University Teaching Department or Research related organization.	The applicant must have 50 research publications in ISI Impact factor Journals of International Repute, at least 75% of which must be as first or corresponding author (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years).

INSTRUCTIONS
•	Maximum age limit is 60 years.
•	Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC
•	Preference will be given to those candidates who have served as Tenured Professor for at least five years.
•	The candidates applying should submit an application along with the photocopies of testimonials/ research work/publications/photograph (1x1)/certificate of any distinction etc., on the prescribed form.
•	Candidates are required to submit a crossed postal order/bank draft/deposit in HBL of Punjab University of Rs. 3000/-. The postal order/bank draft should be drawn in favour of the Treasurer, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
•	Prescribed application forms can be obtained from the Book Shop, University of the Punjab, Allama Iqbal Campus (Old Campus) Lahore/ University Information Centre, Quaid-e-Azam Campus (New Campus) Lahore on payment of Rs. 25/- each and are also available at the University website www.pu.edu.pk/page/downloads.
•	Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers, otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. Incomplete applications (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained.
•	The candidates should submit a separate list of attached documents with signature.
•	The candidates should mention the date of Notification/Result and time period of the degree in the relevant column of prescribed form.
•	The University reserves the rights not to fill/withdraw any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
•	The applications (complete in all respect) should reach in the office of the Registrar, Admin. Block, University of the Punjab (Quaid-i-Azam Campus), Lahore.
•	Last date for submission of applications is October 11, 2019 during office hours.
