Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following Permanent appointments in the University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Requirement

3.	Electrician	25	08	Matric with certificate of Electrician form a recognized Institution and 2 years practical experience in relevant field.
4.	Computer Lab. Assistant	25	07	• FA/F.Sc. or equivalent with two years’ experience OR • Matriculation with Four years’ experience in public / private sector organization of large IT setup Troubleshooting / performance, ducting and cabling, installing windows OS and different Software. Assisting Network / Database Admin in day to day working.
5.	Store Keeper	25	07	Matric with science with 2 years experience
6.	Mason	25	05	Middle with 8 years experience in masonry work.
7.	Driver	25	05	• Middle preferably with Matric • HTV + PSV for bus. • LTV + HTV for Van, Car, etc.
8.	Carpenter	25	05	Middle along with 5 years experience
9.	Machine Man	25	05	• Matric with certificate in relevant field plus three years experience • Should be skilled in operating copy printing machine. • Should be capable of cleaning and re-assembling various parts of machine.
10.	Vacuum Operator	25	03	Matric with 3 years experience in the relevant field.
11.	Armed Guard	---	02	Ex-Army men preferably belongs to Fighting arms. Age Limit:- Personnel of the Armed Forces of Pakistan. 15 years or the Number of years actually served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan whichever is less.
12.	Lab. Attendant	25	02	Matric with Science preferably with Lab. experience
13.	Library Attendant	25	02	Matric preferably with Library Experience.
14.	Computer Lab. Attendant	25	02	Matriculation with one year experience in public / private sector organization of large IT Setup. Understand network ducting and cabling assisting network / Database Admin in day to day working. Diploma in MS office or any other application will be a plus point. Should have basic knowledge of computer. Microsoft Diploma is plus.
15.	Mono Coolie	25	02	• Matric with 3 years experience in relevant field.
16.	Junior Binder	25	02	• Middle with 3 years experience in relevant field.
17.	Field Attendant	25	02	• Middle • Experience in relevant field will be preferred.
18.	Machine Assistant	25	02	Matric with two years experience in handling and operating handfed/automatic printing machine
19.	Lady Attendant	25	01	• Middle • Experience in relevant field will be preferred.

Criteria

Terms & Conditions:
1.	Apply on-line (Applications other than On-line WILL NOT be accepted by the University)
2.	Candidates are advised to read all terms and conditions and instructions of the Advertisement carefully in order to submit their online applications complete in all respects.
3.	The onus/responsibility of correctness of the data given in the on-line application will rest absolutely on the candidate.
4.	Candidates should fill the On-line Form carefully in the light of the Guidelines and Instructions mentioned in the Advertisement for the said post.
5.	Candidates WILL NOT be allowed to apply after Closing Date fixed for receipt of applications, in any case.
6.	By-hand applications, incomplete applications or applications received after deadline WILL NOT be Accepted/Considered in any case.
7.	No TA. /DA will be given to the candidates called for test/ interview.
8.	General age relaxation of maximum five (5) years in upper age limit to male candidates and 08 years to female candidates as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-l (S&GAD) 9-36/8 1 dated 04-11-2006. Moreover, Two Years (2) General Age Relaxation, in addition to age relaxation admissible under these rules or any other rules, shall be admissible in respect of all posts as per Govt. of the Punjab, S&GAD notification No SOR-l (S&GAD) 9-2/2022 dated 26-01-2022 provided further that this age relaxation shall be admissible for the recruitment of posts w.e.f. 01.01.2022 to till 31.12.2022.
9.	Only short listed candidates will be called for test/ interview.
10.	Already in service applicants should apply through proper channel and submit No objection certificate (NOC) issued by the appointing authority, showing that the department will have no objection to relieve, if the applicant is selected.
11.	The University reserves the rights to increase/ decrease the number of advertised posts or withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
12.	The advertisement can be viewed on www.pu.edu.pk along with a bank challan to deposit in the Habib Bank worth Rs. 1000/ for Sr. No. 1, Rs 500/ for Sr. No. 2 to 9 and, Rs 300/ for Sr. No. 10 to 30 non refundable (Postal Order/ Bank Draft shall not be considered).
13.	Govt. Quotas will be observed as per policy.
14.	Candidates for all posts are required to submit one hard copy (duly signed) of On-line Application Form along with attested copies of degrees / certificates / testimonials / photograph (1x1) not later than 4:00 P.M. 06/04/2022 in the office of Dy. Registrar Admin-II, University of the Punjab (Quid e Azam Campus), Lahore, (only through Post/Currier Services.) No extra time will be allowed for postal transit etc.
