    |     The BS in Social Work at the Department of Social Work, University of  the Punjab, Lahore is a leading undergraduate program designed to equip  students with the knowledge, skills, and mindset required to cater to the  welfare needs of the marginalized and vulnerable segments of the society and to  address prevalent social problems. The primary purpose of the Department of Social  Work in University of the Punjab is to provide yearly a group of trained social  workers, equipped with the basic knowledge and skills to assist government and  private agencies in the sound development of their welfare programs.
