A one-day International Seminar “Implementation of Genetic studies for Therapeutic interventions”, was held at Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab Lahore on Tuesday, 26th July 2022. Mr Muhammad Akbar, deputy secretary Higher Education Department Punjab, graced the occasion along with Director CEMB Professor Dr Kausar Malik, senior faculty members and researchers from different life sciences departments and Institute of Child Health Sciences. Dr Muhammad Ansar, from University of Lausanne, Switzerland gave his talk on the discovery of new disease genes and therapeutic interventions. Dr Saba Irshad from SBB, Punjab University gave her talk on genetic characterization of Idiopathic Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism. After concluding remarks souvenirs were presented by Director CEMB Prof Dr Kausar Malik to the Guest of Honor and speakers.
