Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) and Centre for Applied Molecular Biology (CAMB) jointly organized one day international seminar on “Biosafety and Biosecurity” on Monday Oct 3,2022 at Riazuddin Auditorium, CEMB. During the seminar, Mr. Muhammad Adeel from ACDIS, Pakistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave his informative talk on “Policy Implications of Emerging Bio-Technologies”. Later on, Mr. Shahbaz Ahmad from Jhpiego-John Hopkins University USA, gave lecture on “Biosafety & Biosecurity; Myths vs Reality”. Director CEMB Prof Dr Kausar Malik, Director CAMB Prof Dr Rehan Sadiq Shaikh along with students and faculty members from different institutes were present on the occasion. Event was concluded by Director CEMB followed by presentation of Souvenirs to the guest speakers.
