LAHORE: (Monday, January 09, 2012): Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAS) faculty member Prof Dr Ghazala Nasim’s book titled “Flora of Punjab University Sir Syed Campus and Ayubia National Park” has been published by the Punjab University. In her book, comprising 239 pages, Dr Ghazala Nasim has provided detailed information about the flora of PU Sir Syed Campus and Ayubia National Park. She has also thanked Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran for his financial support in publication of the book.

About the book Dr Ghazala Nasim has said the book may be considered as a simple compilation of her work done during the past three decades. She said the book might also serve as a field guide for the beginners in graduate studies in the field of Plant Sciences. She said colour photographs in the book would be helpful in an easy recognition and identification process.
