LAHORE: (Thursday, March 27, 2014): Punjab University Jhelum Campus has celebrated Pakistan Day with full enthusiasm. The students and teachers delivered speeches on the importance of Resolution of Pakistan 1940. The national songs and tableaus were also presented on the occasion.

In addition, First Marathon Race in Jhelum was also conducted by the PU Jhelum Campus from PUJC to Yadgar of Major Muhammad Akram Shahed Nishan-e-Haider in which a number of students from PUJC, other local Colleges, Jawans of Army, Police, Rescue 1122 and Civil Society participated.

On this occasion PUJC Administrator Muhammad Akram said that our youth should accepted and compete the international challenges in the field of education, science, technology, health, sports etc. for the development of country. In future, Marathon race will be conducted at this occasion every year by the PUJC.
