LAHORE: (Wednesday, March 05, 2025): Punjab University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Research and Development Wing of the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab, to foster research collaborations in areas of mutual interest. In this regard, the signing ceremony was held at PU VC’s office committee room. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Senior Advisor Research at the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab Dr Mian Waheed ud Din, Director PU External Linkages Prof Dr Yaamina Salman, Director Research at the Office of the Ombudsman Punjab Dr Mukaram Ali Khan and senior policy advisors of the Office of Ombudsman, Punjab were present. The agreement aims to strengthen academic cooperation, facilitate the exchange of research resources and organize joint symposia, seminars, workshops, conferences etc. The MoU also encourages collaborative publications and personnel training to enhance research. The attendees highlighted the importance of academic collaboration in supporting evidence-based policymaking.
