PU IBA sports gala concludes

LAHORE: (Saturday, February 25, 2012): Annual sports gala of Punjab University Institute of Business Administration concluded in a colourful certificate distribution ceremony which was presided over by Director Sports Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar.

IBA Director Prof Dr Ehsan Malik, Additional Director Sports Attia Mumtaz, Director Human Resource CCL Pharmaceutical Dr Abdul Sallam Babar, faculty members, employees and students participated on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Sarwar said that healthy body was a must for healthy mind. He said that a great benefit of gaming was that it created sportsmanship and tolerance in the life.

He lauded Prof Dr Ehsan Malik for successfully organizing sports gala and said as he was himself a sportsman, he took care of sports activities in the institute. Prof Dr Ehsan Malik in his welcome address said that our body had a right on us and even a healthy body was needed to perform religious obligations. Earlier, cash prizes of Rs one hundred and fifteen thousand, trophies, certificates and shields were distributed among candidates and teams who showed outstanding performance in the annual sports gala.
