Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for following posts for appointment under Tenure Track System.

Qualifications:  Ph.D. Degree/Terminal Qualification in the relevant field (from an HEC recognized Institution).

Experience:  6 Years Post-Ph.D. or minimum of 4-years of Post-Ph.D. experience along with at least 6 years of experience prior to the Ph.D. (The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in a recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization).

Publications:  10 Research publications (with at least 4 publications in the past 5 years) in Commission, i.e. research papers published in journals that fall under the category W, X and Y for Social Sciences while for Science disciplines papers published in only W category (Impact Factor) journals.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

Area of Specialization:
• Molecular Genetics/Molecular Biology/Biological Mass Spectrometry.

The Responsibility of the Job Includes:

    i. Can prepare SBS students for International GRE in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology.
    ii. Able to supervise research of Ph.D. students, with a potential to win research grants from National and International agencies.

Note:    Applicants who had applied for the post of Associate Professor advertised in January, 2011 and fulfill the above eligibility criteria, their applications will be processed against the same post.

•    Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificate issued by their present and former employees otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
•    Incomplete application (in any case) or those received after due date shall also not be entertained.

•    The SBS reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
