The University of Lahore recently hosted a national conference on "Latest Trends in Research and Criticism," bringing together renowned scholars, researchers, and writers to discuss the future of Urdu and Pakistani languages. Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Learning at the University of the Punjab, Lahore, graced the occasion and chaired the concluding session. In his address, Prof. Dr. Kamran emphasized the importance of adopting modern research and criticism trends to strengthen Urdu and Pakistani languages in the 21st century. He highlighted the need for innovative approaches to promote literary and intellectual discourse in the country. The session was co-chaired by Dr. Sheeba Alam and acclaimed fiction writer Hameed Shahid. Prof. Dr. Kamran lauded the efforts of Prof. Dr. Asghar Nadeem Syed and his team for organizing a successful and intellectually stimulating event.
