Institute of Industrial Engineers (IE) describes that Industrial Engineers figure out how to do things better. They engineer processes and systems that improve quality and productivity. They work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, energy, and other commodities. |
Many people are misled by the term "Industrial Engineer" The industrial does not mean just manufacturing. It encompasses service industries as well. It has long been known that industrial engineers have the technical training to make improvements in a manufacturing setting. Now it is becoming increasingly recognized that these same techniques can be used to evaluate and improve productivity and quality in service industries. |

Eligibility:
F.Sc. Pre-Engineering or equivalent
OR
Relevant Diploma: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Auto & Diesel, Automation, Cast Metal & Foundry, Chemical, Dies & Molds, Glass, Ceramics & Pottery Development, Mechanical, Mechanical (Construction Machinery), Mechanical (Production), Mechanical with any specialization, Mechatronics, Vacuum.
OR
A combination of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Studies/ Computer Science (ICS) is allowed for admission in all Engineering Programs, with Chemistry as a remedial subject/course in the 1st Semester after admission.
Entry Test: Any of the test conducted for the year 2023 including: E-CAT by UET Lahore or PU-E or PU-CSP or Entry Test by NUST for Engineering. The minimum passing marks in the Entry Test are 33%.

F.Sc / DAE / or equivalent examination passing years 2021, 2022, Spring 2023
Age: F.Sc / DAE basis: 24 year

Additional Marks:
Hafiz-e-Qur’an: 20 Marks

NOTE: The provisional admissions of BS 1st Semester will be made on the basis of the result of the Intermediate Part-I. In case of failure to meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above in the 2023 (Part-II) examination, the provisional admission made in 1st Semester shall automatically be cancelled. Rules and directions as approved by PEC shall apply.
