Research Interests
Research area encompasses fungal ecology, taxonomy and molecular phylogenetics of micro and macrofungi including mycorrhizae, lichens, pathogenic fungi (rusts, smuts and powdery mildews). Research also caters with the relationships among the members of these groups, their geographic distribution, and the associations of these fungi with other organisms.
