| Important Notes |
1. |
The Applicant must have a proven track record of Sports achievements at various levels. This can include participation and success in relevant sports at International/National. State/Provincial, District, College, School, or club levels. Evidence of participation in Recognized sports competitions or tournaments is mandatory" |
2. |
Candidates must provide a photocopy of their national identity card. Every candidate must also bring a hard copy of the admission form mentioning the game with light lamination, along with all required sports documents, failing which the candidate will not be permitted to participate in trials. |
3. |
During trials, all candidates must submit photocopies of all their educational and sports documents with the admission form (mentioning games). |
4. |
All Candidates who want to participate in Sports Base Admission trials must follow SOPs for COVID-19. Otherwise, the Candidate will not be allowed to participate in trials without fulfillment of SOPs. |
5. |
Candidates should report on the scheduled date and time in proper Kit/clothing (cricketers must be in the white kit) and must bring their own sportswear & gear (Bats, rackets, hockey sticks, joggers, rifles& cartridges, etc.). |
6. |
No separate trials will be conducted for students desirous of admission to the Gujranwala and Jhelum campuses. |
7. |
Applicants must participate in the Punjab University admission test or Specific Departmental Test (Law, Engineering, etc.) for undergraduates, which is mandatory even for reserved sports seats. Similarly, he/she must fulfils the requirement of the overall percentage required to apply in that particular discipline (Engineering 60%, Pharmacy60%), or he/she must have the specific subject or combination of subjects needed to apply for the particular discipline. |

Selected candidates are required to submit original documents within three days after the list is displayed.
Students admitted on a sports basis will be given incentives such as full tuition fee and dues waivers, attractive scholarships, free hostel accommodation/mess (Women) in sports hostel, free medical cover, and other fringe benefits based on their performance at HEC, National, and international levels in their respective sports. |
9. |
A list of Short-Listed candidates will be displayed on the Punjab University website (http://www.pu.edu.pk), and students who will pass F.A/F.Sc. Exams will get admission |
10. |
The allocation of Departments to the candidates selected in trials will be based on criteria laid by the Directorate of Sports and approved by the Worthy Vice-Chancellor. |
