LAHORE: (Sunday, May 05, 2024): Punjab University obtained 1st position in All Pakistan HEC Weight Lifting Women’s Championship at Sindh Agriculture University. As many as 11 universities participated in the event. PU Deputy Director Sports Hurria Hussein was the team Manager while Wasif Ali was the game supervisor. Malik Rashid Ali was the coach and Adnan Abdul Jabbar was the assistant coach in the championship.

Meanwhile, in all Pakistan HEC Football men championships at University of Sargodha the PU’s team secured 2nd position. As many as 16 universities participated in the championship. Assistant Director Sports Sajjad Hafeez Akbar was the team manager and Mohsin ul Hassan Shah was the team coach. Punjab University Director Sports Zubair Ahmad Butt congratulated teams and officials for winning the event.
