LAHORE : (Wednesday, May 18, 2011): A farewell dinner was organized in honour of Dean Faculty of Life Science Prof Dr Shahida Hasnain in the University Executive Club. PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran, Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtar, Prof Dr Muhammad Amin Athar, Prof Dr Khan Rass Masood, Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar and other faculty members were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran highly appreciated the academic services of Dr Shahida Hasnain for the faculty. He said Dr Shahida was a polite personality and a lovely teacher. He said that Dr Shahida had played a crucial role in promoting research culture and his faculty was very progressive in respect of producing PhDs. The other faculty members also paid rich tributes to the services of Dr Shahida Hasnain and said she was a good colleague and a friend.

Dr Shahida Hasnain, in her remarks, thanked the Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran and all other faculty members for their cooperation in meeting the tasks to promote research in the varsity. Dr Shahida said she had always loved to work for the academic and research progress of the greatest alma mater.
