LAHORE: (Saturday, June 30, 2012): Punjab University has awarded 07 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Arshad Shahid S/o Faiz Muhammad Faiz in the subject of Punjabi after approval of his thesis entitled “Heer Waris Shah Dey Muhawreyan Da Lisani Mutalia”, Shahida Amjad Riaz Shah D/o Khushhal Khan Jadun in the subject of Haematology after approval of her thesis entitled “Association of Aplastic Anemia with Positive Viral Hepatitis Serology, and its outcome after Immunosuppressive Theraphy”, Farrukh Shahzad S/o Abdul Rashid in the subject of Solid State Physics after approval of his thesis entitled “Fabrication and Characterization of new Composite Spring Exchange Magnets”, Muhammad Akram S/o Ghulam Rasul in the subject of Botany after approval of his thesis entitled “In Vitro Approaches to the establishment and Multiplication of Teak (Tectona Grandis L.)”, Syed Akhtar Ali S/o Syed Ashraf Ali in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Role of Transcription Factor and Co-Repressor Proteins in Epigenetic Regulation of Cell Fate Determination”, Ammara Iqbal D/o Jam Muhammad Iqbal in the subject of Urdu after approval of her thesis entitled “Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi Bator-e-Sha’er” and Thuduwage Don Tudor Leslie Dhanpala S/o T.D.
