LAHORE, December 18, 2025: Dóra Günsberger, Deputy Head of Mission at the Hungarian Embassy in Islamabad, visited Oriental College, Punjab University, to strengthen ties between institutions. She met with Dr. Baseera Ambreen, Director of the Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, and discussed collaboration opportunities.

Accompanied by Mr. Abid Sherwani and Mr. Anis Iqbal, Günsberger expressed gratitude to Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah for supporting an event honoring Sir Aurel Stein, former Hungarian Principal of Oriental College. The event is planned at Oriental College to commemorate Stein's legacy.

The visit highlights Hungary's interest in fostering academic and cultural exchange with Pakistan, honoring Stein's legacy.
