Dr. Uzma Qaisar has completed her Ph.D in Molecular Biology from Center of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She worked as a postdoctoral research associate in the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA. Later she worked as a full-time research associate in Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX. USA for 5 years. Her areas of interest include plant functional genomics, cotton fiber quality improvement, plant-microbe interactions and genetic engineering.
