Dr. Saba Riaz joined department as lecturer in 2005 and then as Assistant Professor in 2013. Her research interest is medical microbiology/ infectious diseases, especially on multidrug resistant bacteria and their diagnosis. She also worked in clinical virology. She has published 19 research articles and one book. 17 B.S/M. Sc students, 3 MS/M. phil completed their research, 2 Ph. D students are working. She completed 10 research project as PI awarded by Punjab University and one awarded by HEC. She participated/attended > 80 conferences/workshop/symposia. She was also member of organizing committee for two national conferences.
