Centre for Undergraduate Studies

Center for Undergraduate Studies was inaugurated on 12th of September, 2007 by Lt. Gen. (R) Arshad Mahmood, former vice chancellor. The students, indented to do four years bachelors (B.S Hons.) in the discipline of Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Statistics and Mathematics, are taught for the first two years in the center. Here, the students, study their compulsory subjects with the elective subjects and then they are promoted to their parent departments with full basic knowledge of their respective fields. Center for Undergraduate Studies, a three storey building with well furnished spacious class rooms and modern science labs, is located at one of the most attractive place of the university, near the administration block and VC office, surrounded by important science departments. Center is designed to meet all the academic and professional challenges of the modern times. Center for Undergraduate Studies comprises of a highly qualified regular and visiting faculty, Al-Raazi Hall (auditorium), video conferencing room, computer lab with latest computers and a library with an enormous collection of books.
